Every meaningful idea has a starting point. For Curiyo.io, ours began with a simple question: What if understanding and organizing the things we own could be easier?
Where it began
The inspiration for Curiyo.io came when one of us, Rebecca, became the executor of her uncle’s estate.
Among his belongings were collections of toy soldiers, trains, coins, watches, books, and other objects accumulated over a lifetime. Each had its own history and potential significance.
As Rebecca began researching and organizing these belongings, she became increasingly interested in the information connected to them. An ordinary-looking object could have an unexpected history, while something of modest financial value could hold tremendous personal meaning.
The experience sparked an idea: What if there were an easier way to discover information about our belongings and keep that knowledge organized in one place?

From an idea to Curiyo.io
Having known each other for years and worked together early in our careers, we began discussing how our backgrounds in business strategy, technology, and product development could help us approach this challenge.
We quickly realized that the need extended beyond estate administration.
People encounter similar questions when moving, downsizing, managing collections, planning for the future, or simply taking stock of what they own.
More recently, someone close to Lisette asked her to serve as the executor of their estate. It was another reminder of how these responsibilities can become relevant at different stages of life, and how valuable it can be to have information organized before it’s needed.
These experiences helped shape Curiyo.io, the first product developed by Wealth Nexus.

Discover, understand, organize
We created Curiyo.io to help people discover and understand the value of the things they own.
By bringing together historical information, market insights, comparable sales, and reference sources, we’re working to make researching personal belongings more accessible. The platform also helps people create an organized record of what they discover.
But our interest goes beyond the technology itself.
We see organization as a way to create clarity, preserve information, and make decisions easier. Whether someone is documenting a collection, preparing for a transition, or simply satisfying their curiosity, having information in one place can be a valuable starting point.
Looking ahead
As we developed Curiyo.io, our perspective expanded.
We began thinking about the many situations in which people benefit from clearer information, practical resources, and better ways to get organized.
Technology can play an important role, but it is only one part of a broader approach to helping people navigate life’s responsibilities and transitions.
That perspective continues to shape our work at Wealth Nexus.
Curiyo.io represents our first step: a product inspired by personal experience, shaped by curiosity, and built around a practical need.
As we look ahead, our focus remains on a simple idea: helping people make sense of what matters.
What Matters.
